Ok guys and gals-
I'm unsure whether or not I posted this story here before, so in the hopes that I haven't, I'll post it now...
The Police Department I work for, the Waynesboro Police Department in Waynesboro, Georgia, is rumored to be haunted by two spirits, one evil, and one good.
The first is the Earthbound spirit of a one-time prisoner of the Waynesboro Police Department. I don't know this man's name, but he was being kept in a holding cell for a violent assualt on a police officer, and decided to hang himself while awaiting trial.
He was found the next morning, dead in his cell.
Since that day, Officers of the Waynesboro Police Department have reported hearing strange noises in the station at night, and several, myself included, have felt a "presence" in the back areas of the station, which are closed off to the public.
The briefing room seems to be a hotbed of activity, and is only seperated from the hallway with the holding cells by a wall.
The other ghost is "Rachael", a dispatcher who died of heart complications. Several people, myself included, have smelled a strong odor of perfume in the police station at night, espcially around the dispatch center. Veteran officers claim that its the same perfume Rachael wore when she was alive..
"As I was going up the stairs, I met a man who wasn't there...he wasn't there again today..I wish, I wish he'd go away..."
