I was actually reading up on some philosophy and higher learning and enlightenment today and came across some absolutely divine excerpts:

"The evolution of Earth is understood to be in three distinct stages: Matter, Life & Mind. Mind can only evlove so far, then it must transform into higher principle. Beyond Mind & Spirit, the Divine Conciousness, organized as Truth-Conciousness or Supermind. In bteween the human mind and Supermind are other planes of conciousness, including the Overmind. It is possible through rigorous spiritual discipline (yoga), to have the Supermind descend into the human mind, where its full power can begin to work in nature: Thus the natural world becomes spiritualized.

The ascent from mental to supramental conciousness occurs in what is known as the Triple Transformation: First one undergoes a spiritual change and recognizes the Divine within; then a higher light descends, expanding conciousness to embrace the Divine in the All; finally comes the transmutation of ascent to Supermind and descent of the supramental conciousness into one's entire being and nature."

I was completely amazed - it was written by a Yogi in the early 1900's and some of his works are actually published books and he wrote a life-long poem that he continually added lines to until his death (which I found fascinating). This is the complete and utter understanding I've been talking about (to those I've been assisting to reach a higher form of communication - this will really help and you know what I'm talking about - I am the Meditation General! ). He tried to achieve peace and indepence for India through spiritualism and was a great enlightening force liberating them from Britain. He wanted to bring the world to peace through knowledge - talk about being way ahead of your times. (Mebbe he was mah poppa in a past life? lol)
