I dreampt I was standing on a high place, lots of vegetation, overlooking the ocean. It felt good, it was bright & breezy - the weather was prefect. Then
I place my hands into my pockets - and felt something soft in my left jeans pocket. Took it out and saw, it was a dog's stub tail.. short, the kind that
was cut & should have remained with the dog. It was not hairy, looked kinda fresh but nothing bloody.. And I remember wondering how it got into my
pocket...

And you make fun of MY dreams?!?!?!
It was hard finding something on a dog tail only (especially disembodied!)... But I found this: To cut off the tail of an animal, denotes that you will suffer misfortune by your own carelessness. Since you were NOT the one to cut it off (that we know of) I think it might symbolize that someone will blame or push off their misfortunes on you. (Or make you feel responsible for what they did wrong). I hope that helps!
